MINI picnic

daddy has to prepare something for his forthcoming conference in surrey. and that means he has to spend a little of our weekend time together at university. he asked all of us to come along. since it was a sunny day..off we went. had this lovely mini-picnic at university where the big beautiful blooming blossom tree is. adam had fun running around under the sun. harris even had his nap cosily in the pushchair. fresh air, soft winds, dry ground, crisp weather. i smell spring. it's in the air!

SPRING mode

just a few snaps taken on adam n harris in their actions! adam has been building his lego tower for days then when i snapped him in his stripey brown t-shirt. he infact asked me to take his photo with his lego tower when he finished building it. he even posed ala2 bob the builder gitu siap ngan topi kuning n hammer in his hand. yesterday, he built another tower while i was at work...and asked daddy to take his photo for him. harris seperti biasa, kalau dia tak tidur lena kat cot..sibuk main tangkap2 sana sini...hehehe...he will grab almost anything in sight now.

SNOW in newcastle
|
|
it was thin..really thin that even the famously bbc field was not even covered with it! but, i got up that wednesday morning as soon as ali said that it is white outside..it's snowing in newcastle!! at last! so, tanpa bersarapan pagi ponn...dgn bingkasnye..mama cakap..adam jom! cepat tukar baju, kite main snow (dgn harapan blh buat snowman kat padang bbc)..ahahaha...sekali sampai2 jek kat padang tu..laa..tade pon snow tebal2 mcm thn lepas. hmm..tapi, dah sampai kat padang..layan jugaklaa kawasan snow empat persegi tuh...siannn adam..buat snow ball pon tak cukup...apatah lg nak buat snow man cam dlm tv tu...atau spt kartun pingu itteww!! ahahaha...takpelaa kan..dpt jugak amik gambar harris ngan white snowy ground...kenangan sblm kite balik jumpe nenek dan maktok..serta atuk serta semua makcik2 yg merindui kita kan..
but, as you all can see, adam had all the fun playing with the snow. balik dr main snow, apalagi terus laa sarapan merangkap light lunch wholemeal toast dua keping, chocolate nesquick and sup cendawan kegemaran..panas2 gitu..hmmm...adam makan tanpa berborak2 ngan mama spt selalu...senyap n fokus jek dia makan...pas sejuk2 kat luar, kena sup panas2 tu..syoklaa kan adam kan?
pastuh, sesi bersembang pulak dgn harris...citer2 pasal td kite tgk snow..as you all can see, how happy we were chatting kann...how ramah harris was..ehehehe..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me..

yup! today is my birthday..
alhamdulillah am here to be able to do everything, enjoy my life besides my beloved family especially my two little boys. never did this before on my birthday. i am not to advertise my self for presents ehehe..however all kind dua', warmest wishes, generous thoughts are always welcome here. may success, happiness n health will be yours n mine for always, insyaAllah.
to my hubby, thanks for the cake. sincerely, i love the little rose on the top! also, i bake my own chocolate cake..i know..i know...it's for my birthday...  because, i have no one else that i could suruh-buatkan-kek besday, so i had the only choice which is to bake it myself. then, all of us had chicken rice, our all time favourite...also, made n prepared by who else..the birthday mommy!
to everyone who also celebrates their happy day today, happy birthday to you all too!

LONDON escapade...
|
|
we all went to london for four days n three nights. stayed in royal court apartment situated right across hyde park in bayswater for a cheap rent at just 135 pounds. the location was superb! nearest bus stop was like less than five minutes from apartment entrance n so does lancaster gate tube station. it wasn't luxurious however the main point is i could cook in london instead of eating out in pricey restaurants! mee goreng mamak is about five pounds sepinggan!
come tuesday, we went to malaysian embassy to get harris's passport n birth registered with the commission. what a beautiful london covered in snow. all white so clean n pure. sadly, we were too busy at the commission that we missed our chance to capture any pictures apart from what i have in here..  but at least, we had the chance to see white london and i personally would always treasure the memory in my mind when i left england pretty soon...then, we visited oxford street, oxford street and more of it. not much shopping though, just wandering along the busy street to see people in actions hehe..couldn't differentiate between actual londoners n foreign visitors..they all looked just the same, ignorant and i-don't-care type of ppl  .
wednesday, visited chelsea fc (again!!) but this time we have harris with us. daddy bought adam his fav club football kit. then, off for more oxford street...hmm...since it was a bit cold, didn't take much pics on harris in london as he was soo busy sleeping in his cosy pushchair that i didn't want to wake him up .
as early as 10am on thursday, we took the bus fr the bus stop near our lovely apartment for king's cross station where we took our train to head home to newcastle. and..here i am posting all these pictures for you as my first entry for this year 2007.
